Meet the Founder
Ali Kerr — Nervous System Educator, Author & Children’s Yoga Trainer
Ali is the author of two best-selling wellness books and the creator of a recently published yoga book for children. With over 15 years of experience in body-based practices, she specialises in yoga for children with additional needs, as well as nervous system education for parents, educators, and therapists. Ali’s work is rooted in compassion, science, and real-life application. Her approach blends movement, mindfulness, and trauma-aware support to help children feel safe and regulated — and to empower adults with the tools to guide them.
She believes that calm is contagious, and that when adults feel steady, children thrive.

“When we understand our own nervous systems, we’re better equipped to guide children through theirs. Calm isn’t something we teach — it’s something we share.”
– Ali Kerr, Founder of Wildly Regulated

Resources to Get You Started

Our beautifully designed card deck includes over 60 playful, practical prompts to help kids move, breathe, and self-regulate. Each card offers a simple yoga pose, breathing exercise, or mindfulness activity that can be used at home, in the classroom, or during one-on-one sessions. Whether you’re building a calming routine or looking for quick ways to shift energy, these cards make it easy to support emotional wellbeing through movement and presence.

Polyvagal theory helps us understand how the nervous system works — and why kids sometimes feel calm, anxious, overwhelmed, or shut down. We translate this science into simple, child-friendly language so you can help children recognise their own states and learn how to regulate. Through stories, movement, and playful tools, kids discover how to feel safe in their bodies, respond to big emotions, and build real resilience from the inside out.
